This is what I heard when I started imagining D-LAB fifteen years ago. This is what one can say to a young, single, inexperienced woman when she ventures into a field as specialized as it is nascent.
D-LAB was my first professional project, yes. And precisely. This inexperience, instead of working against me, saved me a lot of time.
Because I had the good student syndrome, and no bad habits. Because my energy was not only intact, but immense.

And it took a lot for me to stay true to my vision. To learn everything. To knock on every door, question, listen, build the finest possible expertise. And to assemble a team convinced, like me, that "taking on" the industry was not reserved for the big, the strong, the hardened.
We were supposed, maybe, to be afraid. Except that the industry, for me, has never frightened me.
On the contrary, it has always made me envious. Because it creates, because it gives life. A faculty as powerful and natural at the head of a factory as of a family.
This desire to make, to create, to do and to do well. This gesture that involves my hands, my guts, my name.
This obviousness to embrace and embody my vision, body and soul.
She is the same to me as a woman, mother, lover, entrepreneur. Everything comes from the same vital and instinctive drive.
It is this founding momentum that has carried us and allowed us to build, stone by stone, our expertise in nutri-cosmetics. By gathering information and meetings, by following a hundred different leads to select a single active ingredient, by controlling and verifying everything at every step. By trusting no one. By becoming the sole masters of our destiny. With our plants, our machines, our factory.
If D-LAB is a pioneering and unique brand, it is also because I was that small and lonely woman.
And that I intend to remain so.
