Description

Digestive enzymes help break down food. They degrade complex molecules into simple molecules, such as nutrients, which are easily absorbed by the body. The nutrients absorbed into the blood then serve as fuel for the functioning of our muscles, heart, and brain.

From around age 30, the levels of digestive enzymes naturally present in the body decrease, making digestion more difficult.

A diet too rich in sugars and fats promotes the storage of excess in adipose tissues. The majority of dietary fats we consume are in the form of triglycerides, large fatty acid molecules that are not absorbed and are stored as fat. They are notably responsible for weight gain, the formation of cellulite, and intestinal discomforts such as bloating or slowed transit. The microbiota is often mentioned to rebalance the intestinal flora, but some imbalances can be caused by a lack or inefficiency of our digestive enzymes.

Understanding how digestive enzymes work

The Enzymatic Slimming Complex contains naturally derived enzymes that break down triglycerides and limit their storage as fat in the body.

1- BREAKS DOWN FATS AND LIMITS THEIR STORAGE (LIPIDS)

Lipase is the enzyme responsible for breaking down lipids. It breaks down triglycerides into simpler molecules that the body can absorb and use as an energy source. It therefore prevents fat storage.
Kola extract helps control hunger. It also acts as a true metabolism booster by accelerating calorie expenditure and activating fat burning. Its high content of caffeine (10%), theobromine, and tannins makes it a powerful stimulant for weight loss.

2- SLOWS THE FORMATION OF TRIGLYCERIDES THAT CAUSE FAT DEPOSITS

Papain and bromelain are powerful plant enzymes that facilitate the breakdown of foods such as proteins and fats. They aid protein digestion by splitting proteins into amino acids, thus preventing digestive discomfort linked to rich meals.

3- INHIBITS STARCH DIGESTION AND SUGAR ABSORPTION (CARBOHYDRATES)

White bean extract acts upstream to reduce sugar absorption in the intestine by inhibiting starch digestion (complex sugars that turn into simple sugars easily absorbed). Sugars are thus not digested and are either excreted naturally or used as prebiotics by the intestinal flora. By reducing the production of alpha-amylase, the digestive enzyme that converts complex carbohydrates into simple carbohydrates, calorie intake can be controlled and sugar and triglyceride levels maintained..
