Digestive enzymes are involved in the digestion of food. They break down complex molecules into simple molecules, such as nutrients, which are easily assimilated by the body. The nutrients assimilated into the blood will then serve as fuel for the functioning of our muscles, our heart or our brain.

From around the age of 30, the levels of digestive enzymes naturally present in the body decrease and make digestion difficult.

A diet too rich in sugars and fats encourages the excess to be stored in adipose tissues. The majority of dietary fats we consume are in the form of triglycerides, large fatty acid molecules that cannot be assimilated and are stored as fats. They are particularly responsible for weight gain, the formation of cellulite and intestinal discomfort such as bloating or slowing down transit. We often talk about microbiota to rebalance the intestinal flora, but certain imbalances can be caused by the lack or ineffectiveness of our digestive enzymes.

Understanding how digestive enzymes work

The Enzymatic Slimming Complex contains enzymes of natural origin which will degrade triglycerides and limit their storage in the form of fats in the body.

1- DEGRADES FATS AND LIMITS THEIR STORAGE (LIPIDS)

Lipase is the enzyme responsible for breaking down lipids. It will break down triglycerides into simpler molecules, assimilated by the body, then used as a source of energy. It therefore prevents the storage of fats.
Kola extract helps control the feeling of hunger. It also acts as a real metabolism booster by accelerating calorie expenditure and activating fat burning. Its high content of caffeine (10%), theobromine and tannins makes it a powerful stimulant for weight loss.

2- SLOWS THE FORMATION OF TRIGLYCERIDES CAUSING FAT CLAMPS

Papain and Bromelain are powerful plant enzymes that help break down foods such as proteins and fats. They facilitate the digestion of proteins by splitting them into amino acids, and therefore avoid digestive discomfort linked to rich meals.

3- INHIBITS THE DIGESTION OF STARCHES AND THE ASSIMILATION OF SUGARS (CARRBOHYDRATES)

White kidney bean extract acts upstream to reduce the assimilation of sugars in the intestine, by inhibiting the digestion of starches (complex sugars that are transformed into easily assimilated simple sugars). The sugars are thus not digested and are either excreted through natural channels or used as prebiotics by the intestinal flora. By reducing its production of alpha-amylase, the digestive enzyme that converts complex carbohydrates into simple carbohydrates, it is possible to control caloric intake and maintain sugar and triglyceride levels.
