Naturally synthesized by the body, hyaluronic acid is a major component of the skin which guarantees its plump and smooth appearance thanks to its ability to attract and retain nearly a thousand times its weight in water. 50% of hyaluronic acid present in the body is found in skin level, the hydration of the latter therefore being closely linked to the quantity of water captured by the hyaluronic acid molecules!
From the age of 25, and following UV exposure, its content decreases and the skin becomes dehydrated, reducing its elasticity and causing an increase in fine lines and wrinkles.
There are some different sizes, and depending on their location in the different layers of the skin, their actions differ. It is important to note that the entire hyaluronic acid molecule is too heavy to pass the skin barrier. In fact, oral supplementation is essential to benefit from the benefits of this star molecule! To see a real effect, it is important to increase its synthesis, which is why the Hyaluronic Absolute is composed of a spectrum of hyaluronic acids of different sizes.
Each of the sizes present in this spectrum is responsible for a different action in the skin. Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid easily penetrates the skin to stimulate its synthesis at depth, that of average molecular weight acts against water loss And the plump appearance of the skin and the highest molecular weight acts on the surface, at the level of the epidermis, to fill in fine lines and wrinkles.
