The prickly pear, also called nopal, is known to reduce fat absorption by the intestine, especially after a rich meal. By capturing these fats, caloric intake is limited and lipids are eliminated instead of being stored in the body. This patented ingredient, with over 35% fiber content, also plays a role in digestion as the fibers contribute to good intestinal transit and absorb sugars.
The konjac plant, particularly low in calories, also helps to prevent bloating. Carob gum, meanwhile, plays a prebiotic role in the gut microbiota.

Thanks to konjac and carob gum, blood sugar is regulated. Studies* have shown that organic nopal, combined with a balanced diet, promotes “good” cholesterol.

The soluble and insoluble fibers of organic nopal, combined with konjac enriched in glucomannan, and carob gum, have the ability to form a gel complex when in contact with water. This volume in the stomach thus provides a natural appetite suppressant effect, reducing hunger and significantly limiting snacking urges and food intake. The glucomannan contained in konjac (over 95%) can absorb up to 100 times its weight in water, a true natural sponge and a weight loss ally !

To prolong this feeling of fullness, carob gum is also capable of delaying nutrient absorption, thereby reducing appetite over a longer term.
