Pro-Collagen Probiotics & Glutamine

If the intestine is considered our second brain, the microbiota (= the collection of bacteria) that composes it plays a crucial role in its proper functioning. Indeed, the bacterial population present in the intestine is essential for our health and overall well-being. The surface of the digestive system is optimized to digest and absorb the nutrients present in food in the most efficient way possible. The microorganisms present in this intestinal microbiota work in synergy with their host and help the latter to integrate these nutrients in an optimal manner, notably by contributing to the fermentation of undigested foods.

1- IMPROVES PROTEIN BREAKDOWN AND OPTIMIZES NUTRIENT ABSORPTION

To allow optimal absorption of ingested nutrients, enzymes such as papain are responsible for breaking down proteins and/or lipids into elements that are easier to digest. The intestinal microbiota, although mainly involved in protein breakdown and the synthesis of vitamins and other nutrients, is also essential in the development of the immune system. Collagen, when ingested, attracts water molecules due to its hydrophilic nature and thus allows the food bolus to move more easily through the gastrointestinal tract. Collagen and elastin oligopeptides, due to their hydrolyzed nature, are also easily absorbed at the intestinal level to ensure a complete effect and a sufficient dose of amino acids allowing, as indicated by our clinical study*, the stimulation of collagen and elastin synthesis.

Prebiotics such as fructo-oligosaccharides are able to pass through the digestive tract and stimulate the growth of beneficial bacteria such as the strains Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium, also present in Pro-Collagen Digestion. The selected prebiotics have been scientifically proven to, among other things, reduce constipation, improve intestinal discomfort, and control blood sugar levels.

2- FACILITATES DIGESTION, IMPROVES INTESTINAL BARRIER FUNCTION AND COMFORT

At the intestinal level, collagen composes the intestinal mucosa and strengthens its protective effect. Thus, increased collagen synthesis, thanks to our oligopeptides, contributes to its repair, allowing better functionality. Thanks to L-glutamine and chicory, recognized for their digestive properties, transit is improved.

The bacteria Lactobacillus plantarum and Bifidobacterium breve are beneficial for the digestive tract. Studies have shown that a disruption in the composition or quantity of these strains has been associated with certain physiological disorders. D-LAB has carefully selected these two strains to promote the maintenance of good bacteria in the intestine and help digestion.

INGREDIENTS (1 tbsp or 6.9 g): • L-Glutamine 3 g • Collagen oligopeptides 1.88 g and elastin oligopeptides 120 mg (fish, mollusk, crustacean) • Natural coconut flavor • Fructo -oligosaccharides 500 mg • Chicory root extract - Cichorium intybus 100 mg (EPS** 700 mg) titrated in inulin 20 mg • Papaya fruit extract (sulphites) - Carica papaya 100 mg (EPS** 5 g) titrated in papain • Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 80 mg 100% AR* • Lactobacillus plantarum (5 billion CFU***) • Bifidobacterium breve (5 billion CFU***) • Natural flavor, steviol glycosides.

1 tablespoon per day, diluted in yogurt, a glass of water or any other drink.

Preferably before a meal to optimize digestion.

For optimal effects, it is recommended to follow this treatment for at least 3 months in a row.

This formula can be taken continuously throughout the year.
